BOOK 2 CHAPTER 32
Harriette's POV
Ella left Alpha Darius' office before me. I ha
to stand outside to wait for Luna Angela so I could talk to her before I left
When she came out of the office, she was surprised to see me.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
I folded my hands together. "I just wanted to apologize for what happened. I didn't mean to cause trouble on my second day here in this pack," I quickly apologized, thinking I'd disappointed her.
She held my chin.
"When it comes to that bitch, don't ever apologize, understand?" She suddenly said. I knew I hadn't known Luna Angela for a long time but that was probably the first time I would hear her talk with so much hatred for someone.
"You don't like her," I said as though it was a question.
She curled her lips in disgust and shook her head. The thoughts of her disgusts me,"
“Woah, so, what's the gist?" I asked, suddenly more interested in the drama.
She's a bitch,"
"You said that already,"
"I don't want to drag you into the drama,"
I laughed. Yeah, right! "I'm already a part of the drama."
She cocked her eyebrow. "What exactly happened at the breakfast hali? / feel like there's more to it that you're hiding from
"If you tell me what the deal between you and Daisy is, I'll tell you the truth,
Luna Angela suddenly grabbed my hand. "Don't ever hide the truth about anything from me or Darius again, understood? Things could have gone differently in that office and you would have been punished for what was clearly her fault,"
I shrugged. "I'm not scared of being punished,"
"Then, why Did you lie? She asked
I took a deep breath. Was it really okay to tell her? "She was saying some shitty stuff about you. I can't really go into details but they were pretty bad,"
She smiled. “You were scared I would get sad about that,"
Lnodded.
“It's not the first time she would be saying those and it's okay if people say trash about me. As long as they don't say it to my
face, I don't care,"
"What if they say it to your face?"
She looked at me and winked. "There's this thing I do with my art that's really unbelievable and mysterious," Chapter 182-

She said out of nowhere. How did that relate to what we were talking about?
"If somebody pissed me off, I just draw them drowning and let the mystery of my art sort it out,
My eyes went wide as my mouth suddenly became dry.
"They drown for real,"
"Not just drown, a lot better stuff."
"Does Alpha Darius know this?
She chuckled. "No, he doesn't. It started after I had the twins. I thought it was abnormal so I never told anyone about it. That
means it's our secret,"
The look on her face gave her away. I cocked my head in disbelief. "You're messing with me. That isn't possible,"
"Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not. We can never know,"
She was joking. There was no way something like that was possible.
That was weird and yeah, exciting but... no, it couldn't be real.
"Jokes apart, Harriette, if Daisy ever pissed you off, you can ignore her. She's just a pathetic, lowlife being who wants
attention."
If that was the case, I had a lot of attention to give her. I wouldn't mind being on her case twenty-four-seven.
"What happened to her?"
"She found her mate years ago and left with him, only for her to come back two months ago. No one knows exactly what happened and I don't really give a shit but the rumors going around the pack is he left her for another woman. If you stay around the packhouse especially where her room is, every night you'll hear a deep, sorrowful howl of her wolf. It's heartbreaking but..."
"Well deserved," I added for her.
She smiled and nodded.
"She's getting paid back in her own coin. Alpha Darius has issueda warning to her brother. If another matter happened involving her, they would ask her to leave the pack."Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.
"I'll try to stay out of trouble,"
"I hope so. You're Darius's daughter. Trouble is your blue blood
She mumbled under her breath.
"If I'm his daughter for real, does that explain the fast healing ability and the movement
"Yeah, it does. He heals as fast as that too,"
"What about the anger?"
She stared at me. "Is it bad? Can you
control it?
I shook my head.
"I can't,"

Chapter 182-
"Maybe you should talk to Darius and see if he can help you. I think you've been avoiding him."
Yeah! Honestly, judging from the memories I've remembered don't think I like him
"When will Alpha Mason get here?" I asked her.
"Alpha Mason has his own pack. He usually comes once or twice in three months. Why do you ask?"
955%
I needed to talk to him. He promised to help me with my gift. Aber what I saw about Liam yesterday, I've been scared for the boy. I needed to be sure
if it was real or not.
"Are you okay?"
She asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'm good. I just need to pick Liam up from school,"
"You guys only met yesterday and you're already buddies,"
Yeah! "I guess."
I left her standing and walked away even though I didn't really know where the direction of the school was from the Alpha's office. I retraced my step to the breakfast hall and then went back to the school.
I was late and funny enough, Liam was waiting.
Something was different about him. He looked worried and scared. He lifted his eyes and saw me and a tiny smile crept to his lips.
"You okay?" I asked.
He nodded. "You took a while."
"Sorry, I was sorting some things out in Alpha Darius' office,"
"Can we go now?" He asked as though he was in a hurry to leave the place.
I looked around before nodding to see if there was anything or anyone suspicious around
"Liam, are you sure you're okay?" I asked again.
He swallowed hard and looked away. "I'm fine," he snapped.
After walking for like two minutes in silence, I decided to break the ice.
"How was school?"
"It was okay."
"And how come you were the only student outside? Where are the others?"
I close early because I need to go for training.
"Training""
"As the future alpha of the pack. But I can stop going if you're interested. It's your birthright, I only took over because you were absent,
Shock and despair took over me at his words. "No, thank you. I'm good."
17:03 Fri, Nov 1 BBB.
"Why?"
"Because you'll make a great Alpha, and I don't want to stand in the way of destiny," I lied, even though I wasn't sure if he would make a great one.
He glared at me. "Fine! I'll keep holding it down until you're ready."
I'll never be ready, I mumbled.
There was no way I could take that role. I was still on the quest to find myself.
Liam suddenly took a corner. "I thought we were going home,"
"No. 1 said I was going to training."
“Fine.” I grumbled. He didn't have to ask. I just have to follow his bidding. Typical Alpha attitude.
As we stepped onto the training ground and paused by the gate, allowing me a moment to take in the unique surroundings. a shadow loomed over
us.
We both turned at the same time.
It was Alpha Darius.
"You have a call, Harriette," he gave me his phone.
Hooked at the screen and was wondering who it was.
"Come on, say something."
He encouraged me.
I placed the phone to my ear.
That was the only thing I needed to hear befo
