Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 1211

Theodore took out his phone and called Aurora, but she didn't answer the phone.

He turned to the bodyguard and asked, "When you took Angie, was Aurora not at home?"

The bodyguard nodded. "Yes, only Angie was at home. Aurora wasn't there."

Theodore furrowed his brow. Was Angie telling the truth? Had Aurora fled in fear of being caught? He clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking. Could Aurora really be this kind of person? Had he misjudged her character all along?

"Find her. I want to know where she went."

A few hours later, Theodore's subordinates brought news of Aurora's whereabouts. She had booked a hotel room.

Theodore led a group of people to her hotel room and knocked on the door forcefully, but there was no response.

The staff member opened the door with a room key, and the group entered. Aurora was indeed in the room, and she was lying on the bed. Theodore strode over.

"Aurora!" he shouted, but as he got closer, he noticed that she was motionless. An empty pill bottle was on the floor.

Theodore furrowed his brow and immediately yanked Aurora up from the bed, checking her pulse. She was still alive.

After a painful stomachwash and emergency treatment, Aurora finally woke up. Her face was extremely pale as she opened her sore eyes. It was already noon.

Theodore stood by the bed, staring coldly at her. His gaze was devoid of the usual warmth. He went straight to the point and said, "Did you try to kill yourself because you felt guilty?"

Aurora had taken a large amount of sleeping pills. Luckily, she was discovered in time, or she would have been dead.

Aurora furrowed her brow slightly, a flash of confusion crossing her eyes. However, she quickly seemed to understand something.

"That's right. I felt guilty. I'm responsible for your grandmother's death. I let the wolf into the house, so I want to atone by dying. Why did you save me? You should have let me die."

Theodore took a step forward and asked coldly, "Angie says you killed my grandmother, and the recording was edited. I need you to tell me the truth did you do it?"novelbin

Aurora suddenly laughed. "That's

exactly what Angie would say! She slanders and verbally attacks people she doesn't know online when reading novels, let alone when someone in real life poses a threat to her safety."

"You mean she's framing you? That this is something she did on her own, and you have nothing to do with it?" Theodore pressed, his face darkening. Aurora suddenly closed her eyes, letting out a soft sigh.

"Theo, just pretend I killed your grandmother. Send me to prison and have me executed. I don't want to live anymore. I owe her my life either way."

"Aurora!" Theodore suddenly

became agitated, pulling her up from

the bed and grabbing her frail shoulders. "Don't speak nonsense! I want to hear the truth. Did you or did not kill Grandma?"

Aurora looked at him through her tears.
