Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1331

"Oh?"

Jackson's eyebrows arched slightly; things were getting more interesting by the minute.

"Keep digging until you find out who knocked them out."

"Got it."

...

After ending the call, Jackson sauntered back into the private dining room, where Fiona was still engrossed in her meal. She didn't even glance up when he returned, but a hint of a smile tugged at her lips. Once they finished eating, Fiona patted her stomach with satisfaction, then looked over at Jackson, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Thanks for dinner, Uncle."novelbin

"Uncle?" Jackson leaned forward, his dark eyes narrowing while his slender fingers tapped rhythmically on the table.

Even though Mikey was usually full of bravado, he was a bit taken aback by Jackson's commanding presence.

Adam, sipping his water leisurely, nearly choked when he heard their banter.

"Jackson, you're getting up there, huh!" Adam chuckled so hard he was almost in tears.

Fiona seemed blissfully unaware of the charged atmosphere, innocently explaining to Jackson, "Well, you must be, like, twenty-five or twenty-six, right? I'm only seventeen, so calling you 'uncle' seems fitting, doesn't it?" "But..." Fiona's eyes sparkled with mischief, her fair fingers thoughtfully stroking her chin. "If you want to feel younger, I can call you 'brother."

Calling him "brother" would be nice, but "uncle" has its own quirky charm!

Jackson: "..."

What are young girls even thinking these days?

Adam had never seen Jackson at such a loss before, and he was laughing so hard he could barely sit upright.

Eventually, feeling the weight of Jackson's cold stare, he managed to stifle his laughter.

"It's getting late, and it's not safe for a young lady to be out alone. I'll take you home," Jackson said, standing and looking at Fiona. "Sure!" Fiona agreed without hesitation.

Mikey was about to offer to take Fiona himself, but a single look from her silenced him.

The boss definitely has a way with the ladies!

Adam, with a teasing grin, remarked, "Jackson, we've only got one car! If you take the little sister home, what's gonna happen to me?" "Grab a cab." Jackson didn't even glance at Adam, simply striding out in his polished shoes.

Fiona quickly followed him.

Adam: "..." Yep, once you've got a girl, the bros are out the window!

...

Fiona didn't want to reveal her true identity, so she asked Jackson to drop her off near her apartment complex.

"Uncle, you can stop here. I'll walk the rest of the way," Fiona pointed ahead while unbuckling her seatbelt.

Jackson's expression darkened a bit, but his deep eyes danced with amusement as he suddenly leaned in, hands resting on either side of

Fiona.

"Kiddo, stop calling me 'uncle.' I'm not that much older than you." Being called 'uncle' just felt off to him.

Made him feel like some old-timer hitting on a youngster.

Fiona hadn't expected Jackson to get so close all of a sudden; her breath hitched, but soon enough, her eyes filled with laughter, her voice turning playful, "Uncle, then what should I call you?"

"How about brother' for a change?" Jackson hadn't expected Fiona to keep her cool so well; he raised an eyebrow, amusement flickering in his eyes.

"Alright, uncle." Fiona flashed a cheeky grin, revealing her small canines, looking both naughty and adorable, "Brother~"
