Chapter 25 Time Since We Lived Apart
Chapter 25 Time Since We Lived Apart
After quite a few hours in the emergency room, the doctor pushed Greyson’s bed out. Greyson looked
too pale with his head being wrapped; only a small part of face could be seen.
Soon, Finnley would like to see him, but stopped by the doctor who said, “A moment please. The
patient needs quietness now. Please come to visit him after a couple of days.”
Finnley asked, “How is he?”
The doctor had a sigh and answered, “He was badly hurt, especially on his head. I have to do more
observation to confirm his status. We are trying with all the efforts, but please kindly notice he might
lose his memory after waking up; as for the most serious possibility, he might be in a vegetative state.”
Finnley was mad at his words, “What are you talking about? In a vegetative state?” NôvelDrama.Org holds this content.
The doctor said, “Sir, please calm down. I just talked about a possibility. He also might be absolutely
well and leave hospital soon. We will keep the observation.”
Finnley said before turning around to leave, “If my son had some problems here, I will close all your
business for sure.”
…
Hattie and Jensen got to a town abroad of which name Hattie did not know. She only thought she had
stunning view here.
She had not got such good view in sight for long time.
Jensen smiled and said, “I believe you will love the town. We can live here in the future.”
Hattie said with hesitation, “But you have your own business… This is a slow place which you don’t
belong to…”
“I hope to live in a not-so-modern place with you.” He smiled, “Here is so quiet, but with very good
medical service. I have a plan to open a coffee shop, selling the afternoon tea as well as desserts. All
of these will cater to people here. Don’t worry.”
Hattie sucked in the lips and had a nod.
Anyway, Jensen did everything for her…
What would she return to his love and kindness? She might be unable to return him for all of her life.
Just now, Jensen saw Hattie absent-mind and then shook his hand before her eyes, “What are you
thinking about?”
Hattie smiled to say, “Nothing. Jensen, thank you.”
“My pleasure.” Jensen touched her head to say, “Let’s go.”
Hattie followed Jensen to leave. She was thinking that she would definitely leave Jensen until he
managed the coffee shop well.
She would like to go somewhere nobody knew and died lonely without disturbing anyone.
But the one concerned her most…
Greyson, everything was going well?
Had he known she left the country?
If he knew it, he should feel much relieved.
Hattie herself determined to leave Greyson, but unexpectedly, she started to miss him soon after
leaving him.
She looked up at the clear sky.
…
A few days later.
Greyson opened his eyes slowly.
He was looking at all the white and smelling the sanitizer.
Why was he in the hospital?
Greyson tried to move himself, but felt much pain. He failed to move, only making a voice of humph.
His assistant heard it and rushed to press the alarm. Then he said to Greyson, “Master, you wake up!
Are you feeling well?”
Greyson did not answer him soon, saying slowly, “It hurts…”
The assistant said, “Please wait a moment. I called the doctor and nurse. I am going to call Mr.
Finnley.”
Greyson had a frown to ask, “Why am I here?”
The assistant was shocked to answer, “Don’t you remember you had a car accident? You…”
“Car accident?” Greyson did not expect the answer, “How did I have a car accident?”
The assistant clearly knew that he could not give him the answer so easily; he should wait for Finnley
to come first. He said, “Master, I don’t know anything about it. I was arranged to stay with you here.”
Greyson sighed and closed his eyes, “Ok. Go to call my daddy.”
“Yes, master.” He went to call Finnley by the request.
Finnley got to hospital immediately. When he was here, some doctors and nurses were checking
Greyson.
As soon as meeting Finnley, Greyson said, “Daddy.”
Finnley nodded and said, “Have more rest.” Then he asked the doctor, “How is my son?”
“He has some sequelae… He lost a part of his memory as well as getting disorder in some other parts.”
The doctor had a sigh, “We are not sure whether his memory will come back or not. However, if he is
taken to some places he knew very well, it will be helpful.”
“He lost the memory?” Finnley was badly annoyed at the result, “Do you remember what I said to you?”
“We tried our best to help him.” The doctor felt sorry to say, “But with hurt on the head, he is so
fortunate to be well in other aspects. The loss of memory will come back one day as long as you keep
the patience to follow our treatment. He will be fine soon.”
Finnley turned to look at Greyson and asked, “Greyson, which part do you forget?”
