Chapter 67 Yair Ivan is Here We Will be Fine
Nepenthe Guesthouse was located in the Northern region of JM City. It was considered a quaint
courtyard hotel.
Quincy had already checked in at the hotel when Yair Ivan arrived. It was all planned by Fred
Thompson.
Yair gave Quincy a call after he parked his car.
Then, Quincy came out to lead Yair into the hotel.
By that time, it was already late at night.
The lights were on in the courtyard. Under the pine and cypress, there was a shade of a tree. There
was a zigzag pathway leading to a pond of water at which a pink lotus was floating at the centre. The
structures of the building were magnificent. It certainly drew interest from the visitors.
Anne Poole was stunned by the majestic structures of the building as she looked around her.
"I knew he couldn't pick a high-class hotel. It might be neat here but are we going to stay in this single-
story house after coming a long way to JM City? There is plenty of single-story houses back in our
county. What's the purpose for us to travel here?" Although the place wasn't as terrible as Julie
expected, she didn't feel comfy either.
She preferred a high-rise hotel like the Berkeley Hotel, but not those single-story houses.
"One man's meat is another man's poison". Some people preferred to watch street jugglers compared
to Hollywood movies. We can't judge their preference.
Anne and Yair kept quiet during that time. They weren't sure about the expenses to stay at Nepenthe
Guesthouse, but they knew it was not bad either to stay in a single-story house in JM city. If Yair was in
charge to book a hotel in JM City, he probably couldn't find a better one.
Although Julie and the others kept complaining, they ended up staying there as they were fatigued after
a tiring day.
The next day, Julie and her gang came out from their room after washing up.
"Although this is a single-story hotel, I had a good sleep. It was comfy," said Aviana, who was
pleasantly surprised.
"Comfy? My ass. That was because we were too tired yesterday," Diana twitched her mouth and said,
"Eh, don't you guys feel there aren't many guests here? I strolled around the hotel yesterday and found
out that there aren't many rooms with the lights on. Excluding the hotel's workers, there aren't many
guests here."
"This hotel is so big, but they have so little guest. I wonder how they manage to cover their expenses."
"Hey, you worry too much. Jane Dulce's boyfriend arranged this hotel for us. The hotel is probably Property © 2024 N0(v)elDrama.Org.
closing soon. This would explain all your doubts. The price went down because there aren't many
guests. Hence, that guy arranged for us to stay here," Julie said confidently.
Aviana and Diana nodded.
"Last night, I asked the hotel attendants whether they have male models here, but they said no. I am
pissed off," Julie whispered to them.
"Then where are we going to find male models? I dreamed Manager Miller from the San Diego western
restaurant, it would be perfect if I could get him in my bed," said Aviana longingly.
"Me too. He is so handsome," said Diana in a flirtatious voice.
"Look at the two of you. Don't worry. There is still plenty of chances. He will be our play toy one day.
Let's look around at the JM city these few days. I am sure you two little sluts can have some fun," Julie
was also tempted.
"Ladies, do you want to dine in? The hotel attendants can lead you to the dining area. It is free of
charge." the receptionist told them enthusiastically.
"No thanks," Julie turned her down politely. She had doubts about the quality of the food as the food
was free of charge from a hotel which was closing down.
Even though the hotel was going out of business, the receptionist at the front counter and the waitress
looked charming.
Subsequently, Hannah came by.
"Ma'am, our hotel offers a free breakfast. I'll ask the waiter to take you there", the receptionist took the
initiative to serve her. The boss instructed the hotel attendants to serve Hannah well. She was a VIP
guest.
Hannah was pleased to have free meals as she followed the waitress. Julie and her gang laughed
sarcastically before they went out of the lobby.
"Look, only a few guests are strolling around in this big garden in the morning. For sure, this hotel is
closing down soon. They even offer a free meal for people like Hannah. Let's head out and find
something else to eat."
"Do you guys prefer Shanghai steamed bun or soft bean curd?" Julie proudly asked the other two.
"Let's look around,"
The three of them were joking around as they walked out of Nepenthe Guesthouse, "Alright. Let's loiter
around the town after dinner to find for some male models so you guys can have some fun."
A week went by, Julie and her gang didn't have a single meal at Nepenthe Guesthouse. They were
wandering around JM City every day.
They found a place that had gigolos where they had fun there. However, Julie paid for the bills for them
for two times, and spent around forty thousand yuan there.
Julie might be rich, but she didn't want to spend too much on her cards as she didn't want to draw
suspicion from her husband.
One day, they ran into Hannah in the hall. One week past, they felt that her skin complexion was so
much brighter, and she looked more energetic. The three of them became curious.
"Do you want to join me for breakfast? The food is quite good," Hannah invited them warmly.
"Forget it. You are used to having steamed buns and pickled vegetables back then. For sure you will be
contented to have some cornmeal noodles. Let's just head out to eat."
After having their meal, they strolled around shopping malls in JM City. They were just doing window-
shopping.
Around 11:30 am, the three of them were starving.
"There's a Chongqing restaurant nearby, let's have our meal there." Julie was the richest among the
three, and she was the leader of the gang. Then, they headed to the restaurant.
After walking a while, Julie stopped and stared at a woman whom she found familiar.
"Lilian." Julie hesitated for a moment before she called her name. The woman in front of her turned
around. Julie was pleasantly surprised to meet Lilian there.
Julie's family owned a pharmaceutical company, and they were negotiating a partnership with a private
hospital in the county town. Lilian was the wife of the hospital's director.
The negotiation was at an impasse. If she could convince Lilian, the negotiation would go smoothly.
"It is you, Lilian," Julie rushed forward to Lilian, "It such a coincidence to meet you here in JM City!"
"Hey, Julie. Where are you heading to?" Lilian greeted Julie warmly.
"Hmm…" Julie was in a loss of word. She wanted to take the opportunity to get things done for the
company. She was embarrassed to tell her that she was going to have her meal at Chongqing
restaurant. Suddenly, Julie came out with a brilliant idea, "We are going to have our meal. Do you want
to join us? Let's go to San Diego western restaurant. It is quite a nice place."
Julie
could never forget the day when she had a scrumptious meal at San Diego when she first arrive at JM c
"San Diego? It is a high-end restaurant. I think I'll just dine in at a nearby restaurant." said Lilian with a
smile on her face. She heard from friends from JM City that only the rich would afford to have meal at
San Diego restaurant.
Lilian was not confident obviously. The situation favoured Julie as she can grab the chance to treat her
a meal at the San Diego restaurant. By then, Lilian will look up to her, and her plan to complete the deal
would accomplish.
"Don't worry. It is a small matter. Since we had the fate to meet here, let me have the opportunity to
treat you a meal." Julie then pulled Lilian into a cab with her whether she wanted it or not as they
headed to San Diego Western Restaurant.
"This place is quite fancy, the last time we had..." said Julie as she led Lilian into the restaurant.
Unexpectedly, the restaurant was full, and around ten people were waiting to dine in.
"Julie, seems like we still need to wait. Why don't we dine in at another restaurant?" Lilian was on
tenterhooks. In term of status and wealth, she was still ahead of Julie. She didn't believe Julie could
afford to dine in at San Diego Western Restaurant. She was afraid Julie was going to make a joke out
of it.
"It's fine. Just wait for a while; we'll have our seat." Julie said calmly. They didn't have any seat either
the first time they came there. They just need to mention the name of Yair to the restaurant, and the
problem would be solved.
"I'll be right back," Julie winked at Lilian before she walked unceremoniously to the front desk.
"What is she doing?" Lilian asked Diana, "Is she trying to ask for our seats from the receptionist? Is she
trying to be funny? It is not our county here."
Lilian was anxious. If she knew Julie was such a fool, she wouldn't have come with her.
"Lilian, don't worry. The others may not be able to do so, but she definitely can," said Diana confidently,
"It was all because she has an influential son-in-law. The last time we came here and managed to have
a seat, it was all because of him."
"Who is her son-in-law? Is he that good?" Lilian asked out of curiosity.
"Her son-in-law's name is Yair Ivan. He's influential. The last time he came, the manager hurriedly
found us a seat without any hesitation. Not only that, the meal was free. They even gave us several
bottles of wine, and they were so polite and humble to us," said Aviana to Lilian, "For sure there
wouldn't be a problem since Julie is here."
