Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise

Chapter 33

"I just want to taste the barbecue of this restaurant first for the guests who come from afar in the future," Lumma stared at the barbecue stall not far away, her eyes sparkling with greed.

She just wanted to eat but gave such a high-sounding reason.

Hearing that she really wanted to eat barbecue, Adam felt annoyed for no reason. He didn't want to do what she wanted, "I never eat this kind of junk food."

Lumma knew that he never ate such unhealthy food, and she never asked him to eat with her.

She simpered, "Mr. Hills, I don't mind if you go back for a rest first. I could try this kind of junk food myself."

 Adam was speechless.

Adam was not pleased that being an assistant, Lumma should want him to leave. Annoyed, he refused to leave.

Adam walked towards the barbecue booth and found a seat at random.

Though dressed in quite an ordinary fashion, Adam would make others feel he was not a local when he sat here.

Lumma went to order food first, and after ordering some of her favorite dishes, she turned her head and bumped into a young man in an orange jacket.

Lumma quickly took a step back, "Excuse me."

"It's alright," The man blushed and smiled at her, "Beauty, which team are you in? Why didn't I see you before?"

Lumma was a little confused, "What kind of teams?"

"Oh, I see. You are not from our club. No wonder I haven't seen you since a few days ago. I'm afraid I won't forget you if I see you before. You know, you're attractive." The man took out his mobile phone and said with a blushing face, "Hey, what about telling me your numbers? You see, we meet each other in a crowd of ten thousand."

Lumma felt gross at his words, but the man seemed confident with his chat-up line.

Lumma smiled, "Sorry, I don't give my numbers to strangers."

"Come on, please do me a favor," The man's face was as red as cherry, "I just played truth or dare with my friends, and I chose dare. They asked me to find a girl and ask for her numbers."

Lumma looked around, "There are so many girls around. Why don't you find others? If others disagree like me, you can turn to the proprietress for help."

Lumma felt she was nothing of a babe in the woods and didn't figure out why he would ask for her numbers in such an old-fashioned way.

The man turned crimson and smiled awkwardly, "Sorry for bothering you. Actually, I want your numbers for your good appearance."

Hearing this, Lumma found him more pleasing to the eye, "Well, I could give you my numbers if you do me a favor first."

The man was ecstatic at her words, "What do you want me to do for you?"

Lumma replied, "I'll ask you a few questions. Just answer me and tell me the truth."

 The man nodded, "Shoot it."

Lumma asked, "How many of you are traveling here together? What kind of transportation did you take? What do you think of the environment, accommodation, and food here? Will you come here again?" Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

The man laughed, "I see. You are doing research, right?"

Lumma nodded, "Yes, I am a staff member of the scenic spot, and this is one of my jobs."

The man answered, "We are members of the Gallagher Club. There are about 100 people traveling together this time. We came here by tourist bus. The place at once enraptured us. People who don't suffer from altitude sickness would like to take another visit someday. But something unpleasant happened today. We dined at a farmhouse which we had already asked for the price. But we still got ripped off for paying an extra 15 dollars for each table. It was not too much for us because there were a few people at each table, and we could separate the bills. Yet it will hurt the reputation if this problem is posted on the Internet."

As the saying went, one rotten apple spoiled the barrel.

Lumma would not tolerate this kind of issue, "Do any other restaurants have the same problem?"

"So far as I know, just one. Everything else is fine," The man took out his phone again, "Could I have your numbers now?"
