My Flash Romance With the Richest Mogul

Chapter 1455

Claudio knew he wasn't the only one bringing in these negative items. Everyone else was doing the same. They were all in the same boat.

As his words fell, a few more people returned. Their opening remarks mirrored Claudio's almost perfectly.

"What you found isn't a negative item at all. They're treasures I bought with my hard-earned money."

"Exactly! Calling them negative items is just offensive."

"Dad, how can you trust her? With her relationship with Joe, she must be hoping for our downfall. Don't believe anything she says. If you do, our family is done for."

"Yeah, Grandpa, she definitely has bad intentions. We should handle these items ourselves. You've not been well lately, and sometimes you think too much."

Everyone seemed to be on the same wavelength, all attacking Ernest with the same arguments. None of them believed he had their best interests at heart. They thought he was just an old fool meddling in their affairs.

Their doubt about Skylar was palpable.

Ernest's face turned ashen with anger as he trembled while pointing at them. "You... You all knew these were negative items!"

He couldn't believe they had knowingly brought home those negative items. It seemed they had lost their minds, and he couldn't help but wonder what on earth they were thinking.

They were more muddled than he was, and he was practically on his deathbed.

Knowing they were negative items, he could hardly fathom how they would bring such dangerous things into the house. They had truly lost their senses. It was madness.

Skylar wasn't surprised by their

actions. She knew they had brought back the negative items because

they wanted more, but they didn't et

want to go through legitimate channels. Deep down, they knew that proper methods wouldn't work, so they turned to thesenovelbin

underhanded tactics.

They were fully aware that these actions could lead to terrible consequences, yet they pursued them anyway.

There was no hope for them.

"All these are negative items. Do you even understand that? Are you trying to drive me to my grave? Listen to me! We cannot keep even a single one of these negative items in this house.

"Let Skylar handle them. She'll take care of getting rid of them of us. We can't let our home stay in this chaos any longer," Ernest shouted, his voice trembling as he fought to control his rising anger.

It was these negative items that had caused all the trouble.

Once, his children and grandchildren had always listened to him. Now, not a single one paid him any respect.

The family exchanged glances, their eyes communicating silently with one another. Some scratched their heads, others rubbed their noses and a few lowered their heads, frowning. Yet not a single one of them nodded in agreement.

Skylar watched the scene unfold and suddenly felt a pang of sympathy for Ernest. Yet, she couldn't shake the thought that those who were pitiful often had their own share of faults.

"You'd better leave Avalon

Residence immediately. Considering

Joe, we won't make a fuss about you coming in here and taking our things today, but you're not welcome in this house," one of them said, his voice wavering as he addressed Skylar.

Once he had spoken, the others chimed in, criticizing Skylar in a cacophony of voices.

Skylar's expression remained blank as she observed them. "You know, repeated wrongdoing leads to inevitable consequences. Today, you still have

a chance to make things right. But it seems you won't take it."

She turned to Ernest and said, "I can't help you anymore."
