My Heart only Beats for You (Natalie Godfrey)

Chapter 2570

It had been a very long time since she last dropped him off at school.

After breakfast, Madam Quartley handed Levon over to the maids and told them she was going to send Montez to school.

Montez was surprised.

Even though he was a very young boy, he understood how his family members in the Quartley Palace felt about Yesseca.

He knew that his great-grandmother didn't like Yesecca.

In fact, she abhorred her!

Montez realized that if his great-grandmother found out what was going to happen at school today, she would be very upset!

She might ruin everything!

Montez insisted that his great-grandmother didn't need to drop him off.

Madam Quartley had decided to do that on a whim and if Montez had turned her down gently like he normally would, she wouldn't have minded it.

But Montez had come off rather strongly about it.

Madam Quartley felt hurt.

Oh no!

"My great-grandson must be very upset with me!"

She recalled when he was much younger, how happy he was whenever she offered to send him to school.

But now he was very against the idea of it!

This only made her even more determined to drop him off at school.

She wanted to spend as much time as she could with Montez to mend their relationship.

Montez panicked when he saw how determined his great grandmother was.

He excused himself to the bathroom and quickly called Yesseca.

Yesseca thought about this for a moment then said, "It's fine Montez. After she drops you off, she'll head home afterward. I'll just come to your school after she's left."

That was all she needed to do, or so she thought.

Madam Quartley accompanied Montez to school.

When they arrived at his school, Madam Quartley discovered something.

All of the children were bringing their mothers into

the school.

She was confused to see this.

Wasn't it enough to drop them off at the school gates? Why were they going into the school with their

dren?

Was this how they did things differently in private schools compared to regular ones?

She asked Montez if that was the case.

Montez hesitated to answer her.

Madam Quartley found this very

suspicious. After she brought

Montez into the school and spoke to a teacher, she realized that the school was celebrating Mother's Day.

But Montez didn't have a mother!

Madam Quartley quietly laid the blame on Tremaine for putting Montez in this situation.

Ever since the incident with Qiana, she had insisted Tremaine search for Montez's birth mother.

With Tremaine's influence, it wouldn't be a very difficult task.

But Tremaine refused to do it.

No matter how much Madam Quartley insisted on him to do it, Tremaine always refused.

If Tremaine had done so sooner, Montez would be here with his mother right now!

It was too late now!

After silently cursing Tremaine for some time, Madam Quartley felt sad once again.

No wonder Montez refused to talk to her earlier, he probably felt very uncomfortable about this!

Every other child had their mother with them. Of course, Montez was going to feel uncomfortable! The more she thought about it, the more upset she became.

She couldn't let this be.

Montez couldn't be left out from the school activities forthat day.

She had to find Montez a mother!

"But who can I call on such short notice?"

Madam Quartley thought of Yuliana!
