Out Of Nowhere: Boss, Let Me Go

Chapter 8 A Lucky Day

Chapter 8 A Lucky Day

The ambulance shuttled back and forth at the gate of No.2 People's Hospital of J City. The air was full

of tension, which made Cindy full of worry.

"Driver, no change."

Cindy opened the car door, took out the money from her bag, handed it to the driver, turned around and

trotted all the way.

Worried about Jason, Cindy walked in a hurry and only felt a sprain in her ankle. Cindy cried out in

pain. "Ah..."

She turned around.

Her shoes were stuck in the gap of the road, and Cindy tried her best to pull them out, but failed.

On their wedding night, Ethan suddenly appeared. Her sister had her husband's child, and Jason was

still lying in the hospital. The situation was unknown.

What the hell was this big day? Didn't Mrs. Amanda say that it would be a lucky day for her to get

married?

Now even her shoes would oppose her.

Her silver high-heeled shoes were covered with water diamonds, shining in the light.

These were the wedding shoes she and Horald had chosen together.

She lowered her head in frustration, her fingertips cold, and the mist instantly filled her eyes.

Cindy took off the other shoe, threw it into the trash can and walked into the hospital barefoot.

Her feet were cold on the ground, but not as cold as Cindy's heart.

Both she and Horald worked in this hospital. Yesterday, they happily sent wedding candies to everyone.

It was only one day, but everything had changed.

With tears in her eyes, Cindy could not help but grin in pain every step she took.

"Isn't that Cindy? How dare she come back after such a thing?"

"It's not a big deal. She was with Mr. Qin on their wedding night yesterday. That kind of woman is a

bitch who clings to the power. It's not a big deal."

"Look at her. You have to learn her skills. Maybe you can find a rich husband in the future."

"Let's go! Let's go! Mind your own business!"

Several nurses passed by her and gossiped in Cindy's ears.

These people were not in the same department with her, and Cindy didn't know them.

It seemed that the fact that she was sold to Claude Qin had made her a "celebrity" in the hospital.

Having no time to think about it, Cindy went straight to the stairs. Jason's illness was what she was

most concerned about now.

In the corner of the six floor of the inpatient building was Jason's room.

The Cheng family's livelihood was a problem after it went broke. Without the help of her father's friends,

Jason wouldn't have a ward in No.2 People's Hospital of J City. Although there were three rooms and

the supporting facilities were not complete, Cindy was satisfied. When the Cheng family couldn't afford

the medical fees, Cindy went to the hospital's financial department and said that she could still be in

arrears for a few days, which was the most important reason.

Nowadays, the Cheng family lived on Cindy's salary alone, which was barely enough. In the past two

years, with the help of Horald, Jason was able to continue his treatment.

Horald Tao.

His name was piercing through her throat, and she could not bear it.

Taking a deep breath, Cindy pushed the door open and shouted, "Jason." Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

"Sister." leaning against the sickbed, Jason watched TV and ate the apple happily.

Having been sick for a long time, he had already been used to the life in the hospital.

"Cindy, here you are. Where have you been today? I couldn't get through you. I was so worried."

"Sister, I've been missing you for a whole day." Jason took a bite of the apple and smiled at Cindy.

Amanda stood up and pulled Cindy out of the ward.

"Cindy, the hospital is pressing for medical fees. Jason's medicine had been stopped this morning, and

Nurse Ming said it was an order from the hospital. I just asked Dr. Bai to help me, but he said he

couldn't make a decision. Cindy, please think of a way to fix this. They cannot cut off Jason's medicine.

You know his illness."

An order from the hospital?

Cindy sneered.

Obviously, it must be Claude, the dirty villain, who failed last night. He pretended to be the son of the

president and played tricks behind his back. Dr. Bai was the attending doctor of Jason. Cindy used to

ask him to negotiate the medical fees before.

"Cindy, hurry up. Jason can't wait." Amanda held Cindy's hand more and more tightly.

As a nurse, Cindy knew better than her mother of the consequences of cutting off the medicine.

"Mom, don't worry. I'll figure it out right now."

Cindy shook her head and rushed forward.

A nurse walked out of the ward nearby, pushing an infusion bottle. Hearing the conversation between

the mother and the daughter, she stopped.

"Don't worry, Amanda. As long as Cindy shows up, you don't have to stop your son's medicine. Maybe

you don't have to pay the medical fees in the future."

Then the nurse snorted and left.

Confused, Amanda stood still.

Coincidentally, Nurse Ming came from the ward after checking the room.

"Nurse Ming, what did she mean by that?" Amanda grabbed her arm.

She used too much strength and the folder in Nurse Ming's hand fell to the ground with a snap.

Immediately, Nurse Ming's face turned gloomy.

"Don't you know about Cindy? She cheated on Dr. Tao on their wedding night and hooked up with the

son of President Qin. She was caught cheating on Mr. Qin in bed by Dr. Tao and hit Mr. Qin on the

spot. It was said that Mr. Qin was seriously injured. Just wait. Your son will go home tomorrow. "

Normally, the Cheng family often owed medical fees, and Nurse Ming had long disliked it. She was not

polite at all.

Her sarcastic words resounded through the corridor.

Not only the nurses passing by looked sideways, but also many people stuck their heads out of the

ward door and whispered after hearing it.

Everyone looked at Amanda.

Amanda was so anxious that she felt dizzy. She shook her body and quickly held the door frame of the

ward.

"Nurse Ming, are you kidding me?" How could Cindy do such a shameless thing as she said?

Nurse Ming picked up the folder on the ground and curled her lips, gloating. "Ha ha, is it true? Go ask

your good daughter."

"Is it true? Doesn't Cheng family's daughter look like a cheap woman?"

"Nurse Ming had said so. It must be true. How could she be so ungrateful? She was giving out wedding

candies yesterday. Alas."

"Look at her poor family. She often owes her medical fees. It's normal for her to with to have a rich

boyfriend. "

Whispers filled the room. Although the voice was not loud, the words were penetrating.

Holding against the door frame, Amanda couldn't move a step.

Although the Cheng family had gone bankrupt, it was still a clean family. Since childhood, Amanda had

taught her children how to behave themselves. She hoped that they could stand upright. She didn't

expect to be gossiped around today.

In the distance, Cindy had reached the end of the corridor, with her back straight.

The only thing she could do now was to protest against these rumors in this way.
