Chapter 10: Escape
Chapter 10: Escape
Leanne used a lot of force and Vinson Gu fell to the side with pain.
Leanne got up and looked at her torn clothes, helplessly grabbed Vinson Gu's suit on the sofa and
draped it over her body, grabbed the door and left.
Vinson Gu tried to stop it, but could only watch as she slipped away again, his face grim.
Once outside that room, Leanne Mo picked up her pace and headed out, afraid that Vinson, the
pervert, would catch up with her again. After leaving the Lone Star Hotel and breathing in the fresh air
outside, she slowed down her pace.
Leanne Mo looked in the mirror at the woman with slightly disheveled hair, unnaturally flushed cheeks,
and unkempt clothes in her obviously ill-fitting, baggy dress, and couldn't help but get a headache.
No wonder the people around her were looking at themselves with a strange expression, and some of
them were already talking about it. The way she looked now, it was obvious that she had just
experienced a sexual encounter, damn Vinson Gu.
If this look appears in front of Miller, he will have to be pestered by him to ask questions.
But it was impossible for her to go shopping for clothes in this condition, not to mention the fact that she
had nothing but her cell phone with her when she was forcibly taken away by Vinson Gu.
She had no choice but to pick up the phone and call Miller, who received over a dozen missed calls
and several missed texts. Half of the missed calls were from Gavin, and a few were from Miller, so she
thought better of it and called Miller back.
The phone was quickly answered and Miller's distinctive voice rang out." Oh, God, are you okay?
When I saw you being taken away by Vinson Gu, I freaked out! Why didn't you answer the phone? NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
Gavin was looking for you. Wait, you haven't called Gavin back yet, have you?"
Miller stayed in Leanne Mo's old apartment and asked anxiously, but kept his voice down for fear of
waking the newly sleeping child.
"My phone was taken by that bastard Vinson Gu, where are you guys now, let's meet up." Leanne
interrupted Miller's endless questions and said succinctly.
"Where else would we be, in that little apartment you used to have." Miller, too, was well aware of
Leanne Mo's current temperament and didn't ask any more questions.
"Okay, pick me up at the entrance of the neighborhood in 20 minutes." After Leanne Mo said this, she
waved and stopped a cab.
"Ah, why, can't you just come back by yourself, when Daniel's still at home sleeping?" Miller said as he
conferred with Leanne Mo.
"I don't have my wallet, just come down and pay the fare." Leanne Mo finally got a cab, she hung up
the phone, got in, gave her address and started to rest her eyes, after a long day of flying and being
tortured by that bastard Vinson Gu, she needed a good rest.
The cab driver, a kind lady, looked at Leanne Mo's face and, thinking she was aggrieved, hesitated and
said, "Miss, do you want me to drive you to the police station?"
Leanne Mo was helpless when she heard the driver's words. She knew that whoever looked at her like
this would also understand wrongly, in fact she was really forced by this bastard Vinson Gu, but would
it be useful to go to the police to sue Vinson Gu? I am afraid that the police will first suspect that she is
lying, after all, Vinson Gu has never had a woman around, there are many women who want to have
sex with him, but all don't get kicked out by him.
She also wondered how Vinson Gu could be interested in her. She couldn't figure it out and decided
not to think about it and just stay away from that demon in the future.
When the driver saw her silence, he thought she was consoling some bitterness, "Look on the bright
side, miss, life always goes on."
He said he would not say anything more and concentrate on driving.
Leanne Mo felt warm inside as she pondered what the driver had said. Yeah, what the hell, life went
on, she still had to get back at those two scumbags and bitches.
Perhaps the driver took pity on her and wanted her to go home early, so he quickly drove to where
Leanne was going.
Leanne opened her eyes, got out of the car and tried to ask Miller to pay the fare, but she didn't see
Miller.
She silently wrote down the license plate number of the car and thought she must repay the driver
because there were so few people in the world who were truly kind to her.
She looked up at this strange and familiar neighborhood, the name of which is Qingheyuan. It is just a
medium environment neighborhood in S city, most of the people living here are white-collar family.
This is a small three-bedroom apartment that Leanne used her modeling savings to buy in the past,
and she usually goes back here a little more often than to the Mo family's villa mansion.
Leanne Mo is not very close to the Mo family, which is a good thing for her. After all, if you are very
close to your relatives, it is easy to reveal your brokenness and be suspected, not everyone is as good
as Miller, especially the old foxes of the Mo family.
While she was thinking about this, Miller finally came. Looking at her like this surprisingly she didn't ask
more questions, but just said to her, "Where is the driver?"
"Let's go, the driver has already left." Although surprised by Miller's transformation, as if she knew
beforehand that things would turn out this way, she didn't show it too much and just walked towards her
house. Although it was night but she also knew that her appearance was just a little too solid and there
was no guarantee that someone would see her, so she quickened her pace.
It wasn't until she got home that she really relaxed. She looked at her sleeping children, then took a
shower, changed her clothes, rearranged her messy self, and went back to the living room to sit down.
miller was already sitting there, and she knew the king of gossip wouldn't ask nothing.
"I'm tired now, I don't want to explain anything, I don't want to say anything just want to rest early."
Leanne Mo didn't wait for him to ask and simply blocked out all his words.
"Well, if you don't want to talk about it forget it, but you have to call Gavin first. He's worried about you,
Leanne, and I think Gavin is really quite nice, much better than Vinson Gu." Miller finally couldn't resist
saying.
"I've said many times that I don't want a relationship right now, I'll return Gavin's call, you go ahead and
get some rest." Leanne Mo said a little tiredly, about this matter she has been very helpless.
She always considered Gavin as a good friend and confidant, and it was really fun to talk about design
with him on those boring days.
But she never thought Gavin's feelings for her would go beyond that of a friend, and she really
appreciated his pursuit and unfailing care for her during the three years she was abroad.
