Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 34

Happy reading….

“What? Divorce papers?” Jayden asked looking at Hera in disbelief.

“You can sign it after you recover,” said Hera, turning around for a moment before leaving.

“But I will never divorce you!”

A loud voice that made Hera stop in her tracks. Hera’s hands clenched at both sides. Her jaw hardened so that a sharp line appeared on her small face.

Hera took a deep breath trying to control her emotions. She turned to look at Jayden with a calm look.

“Didn’t you promise to divorce me? Why did it change now?” asked Hera folding her arms across her chest.

“What do you mean?”

Hera walked back to Jayden. She bent slightly so that her eyes could directly look at the man who still looked very pale.

“I gave you a chance, but you let me down. So now there’s no more reason for me to be with you,” Hera said, taking a deep breath and letting it out before continuing her speech.

“You’ve lost, Jayden.”

**Flash back**

“But if you need me don’t hesitate to ask. Got it!” Haidar said.

They then broke the hug. For some reason the atmosphere suddenly became awkward but Haidar always had a way to make the atmosphere return to normal.

“There’s actually one thing. Can you help me?” Hera asked the man beside her. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

“What? Say it! I will definitely help you,” said Haidar confidently.

“Alatha Center,” Hera whispered softly.

Haider frowned. “Where is Jayden going to build that luxury apartment?” he asked for sure.

“Yeah. I heard there’s still one place that hasn’t been up for auction there. And Jayden is offering a high price. In other words he’s definitely going to get the place,” said Hera.

“Then what do you want me to do?” asked Haidar still not understanding.

“I want you to get the place.”

“For what? Even I invested there, Hera,” said Haidar still confused.

“The Alatha Center is Jayden’s biggest dream. He wants to build the highest selling apartment in the country.” Hera knew more or less about it because before she and Jayden had a conflict, he had been quite open to Hera and told her everything.

“I’m sure he will be very frustrated if he doesn’t get the place,” said Hera, looking at Haidar seriously. “And when that time comes, he will surely come to you. Offering everything he has to get the place. And I want you to give him the choice between that place or divorce me.”

Haidar moved in his place. Trying to understand the purpose of Hera’s plan and when he had an answer, Haidar looked deeply at Hera.

“You mean to test Jayden?” asked Haidar to make sure his guess was right or wrong.

“That’s true, Haidar. Don’t you know that I’m still very doubtful about my decision? Only in this way can I know whether I should stay or go,” said Hera, smiling bitterly.

Hera’s words just now were like an opportunity where Haidar could still get Hera. If he could get Jayden to prefer Alatha Center then they would split up and Haidar could step forward to make Hera his.

“Okay. I agree!” said Haidar holding out his hand to shake with Hera. Hera happily welcomed the man’s hand as a form of agreement for their cooperation.

Haidar works fast. Tell Ridwan to pay attention to Jayden’s every move. Not only that, Haidar also dug up everything about Jayden. It doesn’t matter that he has to spend a lot of money to get it, but what is certain is that Haidar now holds all of Jayden’s weaknesses.

“I won’t let Jayden keep Hera. He should choose that place over his wife,” Haidar mumbled as he sipped the wine in his glass until it ran aground.

And the long awaited day arrived. When Roy came to Haidar’s office and asked if he would meet with Jayden. Of course it was immediately approved. Because that’s what Haidar wanted.

Jayden offered to meet at the office only but Haidar refused on the grounds that he had just booked a place for him and his friend but suddenly his friend didn’t have time to come. So they met in a VIP room of a luxury Italian-style restaurant.

Even though there was a fistfight between them until both of them suffered minor injuries to their faces, they finally got an agreement.

“I will divorce Hera as you wish,” Jayden said making Haidar smile triumphantly.

The man turned to look at Jayden. “I hope you will never regret your decision,” said Haidar.

Jayden chuckled. “From the start I never loved her. Our marriage was just a gimmick to strengthen the company,” Jayden said gently brushing his injured lips. “I’m just waiting for the right time to let Hera go. But before that at least she has to be useful to me,” Jayden continued, sounding very jerk. “And now she’s finally really useful.”

Haidar, who was ignited by emotion, gave Jayden another punch on his right cheek. If only Ridwan didn’t step in and stop the man maybe Jayden would only be a name.

“You bastard! Hera shouldn’t be stuck with a demon like you, bastard!” Haidar screamed in revolt when Ridwan painstakingly carried him away from there.

“Ah! Damn it!” Haidar cursed throwing his coat towards the car.

“I’m sorry, sir. But you could be in trouble if Mr. Jayden reports on charges of molestation,” said Ridwan trying to calm Haidar’s anger.

Ridwan is right. Haidar definitely doesn’t want just because of his emotions for Jayden he has to deal with the police. It could be that all his plans failed. Haidar should be more patient with the sly man.

“Then what should we do now, sir. Shall we give the land to Mr. Jayden?” asked Ridwan.

“Just give him what he wants. The most important thing right now is how Hera should get away from Jayden. We never know what’s going through that bastard’s mind,” Haidar said and got into his car.

“Okay sir!” Ridwan replied, coming in and sitting in the driver’s seat.

Haidar’s car left the place first. On the way, Haidar cleaned his wound and called Hera.

“Hello, Hera!”

“How about it, Haidar. Has Jayden decided everything?” Hera asked as if she had been waiting for news from Haidar.

Haidar took a deep breath before replying, “According to what you think. Jayden prefers that place over you, Hera.”

Hera was silent for a long time, making Haidar check his cellphone. Afraid if the call was decided unilaterally by the woman.

“Hello, Hera! Are you still there?” asked Haidar.

“Yes. Thank you very much for your help, Haidar. Now I’m sure what kind of decision I should take,” said Hera holding back the tears that had accumulated in her eyes.

“I will go.” But in the end the tears spilled. Like Hera’s patience. Maybe this is the end.
