Weston was rather perplexed. His plan was to first eat and drink before giving his signal. His swordsmen

who were lying in wait, were then meant to launch his attack.

What was this insanity with Wyatt who flipped tables the moment he came in?

Wyatt wasn’t playing by the rules!

“What are you talking about, Wyatt? I invited Ann over for a meal with good intentions. You…”

Before Weston could finish his sentence, a white light flashed across the hall and through a curtain.

Suddenly, a blood–curdling cry sounded. A man in black stumbled out from behind the curtain while having his hand on his neck.

The flash of white light turned out to be a fragment of a plate. The fragment had struck the artery in the man’s neck. Blood was gushing out from the wound.

With a crisp and loud crash, the steel blade fell out of his hand.

“Uncle Wes, you invited me over for dinner. I can’t believe that you had swordsmen lying in wait…” Ann exclaimed while pointing at the steel knife on the ground. She had a shocked expression on her face

Weston kicked away a plate that was by his feet. He decided to stop putting on his act. He smirked and roared, “You’re no match for me, Ann. Shut the door. Tear them apart!”

Two buff men by the door slammed the villa’s main door shut.

Then, herds of people dashed out from various rooms at the main hall, the hallway, and all corners. They had vicious looks on their faces. They were all holding on to shiny machetes.

In a flash, they were ready to attack with their blades. The atmosphere was filled with hostility.

Although Ann was mentally prepared, she was still a little terrified to witness the scene that was unfolding before her eyes.

She directed her gaze toward Wyatt. He was the only one whom she could rely on while she was surrounded by these threats.

He was as calm as usual. He was not fazed by the enemies that surrounded him.

That piqued Ann’s curiosity. What sort of experience did one have to go through in order to be molded

into a man like this?

She stood by Wyatt. She was at the most dangerous place she had ever been in her entire life. Though, it didn’t seem to be as scary at this very moment.

Go to hell!”

A bald man was the first to charge forward. He lifted the machete in his hand up high. He roared like a tiger as he swung the machete at Wyatt’s head.

“Wyatt! Watch out!” Ann cried out.

However, there was yet another flash of white light. She could only hear a loud swoosh. When she took another glance at the bald man, his throat had already been slit.

With that swoosh, fresh blood was spurting out from the wound on his neck like a red–colored fountain.

Similarly, he was stabbed with a shard of a broken plate. She didn’t manage to get a good look at how Wyatt struck the bald man down. The bald man was already dead.

Weston’s pupils constricted. He commanded, “Altogether, strike him down!”

“Let’s go!”

All at once, cries to attack came from all sides. Tens of large men, with their weapons lifted high, charged toward Wyatt like a great flood. The blades of their knives reflected piercingly cold gleams from the lights

in the room.

Ann screamed. She closed her eyes in fear.

By the time she opened her eyes again, all those men were already lying in pools of their own blood.

Wyatt was the only man standing proudly. He stood on the bloodied floor like Hades standing over his

enemies!

Weston’s face was as glum as it could be.

“Agent Six, Agent Seven. Get him!”

Immediately, two young men stepped out from the crowd that was surrounding them. They looked like a pair of twins.

They were bright–eyed. Their temples pulsed. It was clear that they were combat specialists.

Ann had just breathed a sigh of relief. She became alarmed once again upon seeing them.

“Weston recruited seven talents at a high price. They were known as the Seven Deadly Blades. These two are known as Brantley and Kaplan Clark. They are masters in martial arts…”

Before Ann could finish speaking, Wyatt was already on the move.

In the next second, Brantley’s and Kaplan’s bodies were being flung in the air before they landed back on the ground.

They struggled for a little while, and then became motionless.

They were dead!
