The Girl With Lycan Blood

Chapter 24 Chapter 25

Chapter 25

Katy and I got in her car and sped off to the pack doctor.

In and out, just keep breathing in and out.

I thought the doctor said that I couldn't become pregnant... that's what she said right?

It's probably nothing, I'll see the doctor and she'll tell me that nothing is growing in my stomach, then I

can go home and wait till Tyler gets back later. It's all going to be fine.

"How are you doing?" Katy asks with her eyes still on the road.

"I'm freaking out."

"I am too, just a little." She breaths out.

We arrive at the pack doctors and rush into the building. There were only a couple people there when

they saw me they smiled and lightly bowed their heads before continuing with their lives.

Katy ran up to the front desk while I stayed behind in panic. She motioned for me to follow her, and I

did. Katy lead me to the same room that I always get treated in. She shut the door and let out a deep

breath.

"The ladies at the front desk told us to wait here while they send an emergency message to Dr.Kent,"

Katy informs me and takes a seat in the waiting chairs.

I sat up on the examination table and attempted to relax. Tyler can not find out that I'm at the pack

doctor.

"Katy w-what if-"

"Anna stops, everything will be okay." She assures me.

The door suddenly opens and Dr. Kent walks in with a clipboard and a smile. "Hello girls, so what

seems to be the problem?" She asks sweetly.

"Dr. Kent I-I've been getting morning sickness and Tyler and me... I think I'm pregnant." I choked out as

I tried not to burst into tears.

Dr. Kent nodded with a trace of concern. "Well let's find out."

~•~

Darling, darling, doesn't have a problem.

Lying to herself cause her liquor's top shelf.

It's alarming honestly how charming she can be.

The music played through the radio in Katy's car as we drove back to the pack house. I sat in silence

and gazed out the window, watching the passing trees.

She says, "you don't want to be like me

Don't want to see all the things I've seen."

I'm dying, I'm dying

She says, "You don't want to get this way

famous and dumb at an early age."

I'm lying, I'm lying

The music filled my ears, calming me.

I rested my hand on my stomach, and my breath hitched.

"Anna, I told you everything will be okay." Katy rests her hand on my shoulder.

"Well, it's not."

"How is this not okay? You should be happy." Katy says in a cheery voice.

"Seventy percent chance Katy," I muttered and turned to face the side of her head.

She pulled into the driveway of the pack house and stopped the car. She didn't make any move to get

out, and either did I.

"What am I supposed to do when I... when I loose it." I choked out and my voice cracked. "How am I

supposed to tell Tyler?!"

Katy was silent.

"I don't want to go through this!" I yell and swing the car door open. I slam it shut and make my way up

to the front door.

"Look, Anna, I know this sucks!" Katy screams from behind me. "But life isn't fair okay... everyone has

problems, and everyone has to deal with shit okay."

I turned around to face Katy.

"But you have family and friends to help you get through it." She speaks softly.

I don't waste another second before attacking her with hugs. "Thank you, you always know just what to

say."

"Come on, Tyler will be back in an hour." Katy chuckles. "We have some news for him."

I nodded. I was worried, nervous, scared, the list went on and on. How am I going to tell Tyler? How will

he take it?

"Come on let's make dinner and invite Jackson over too," Katy suggests and I push all my worries to

the back of my mind. I smile and nod. We make our way into the pack house and to the kitchen.

Time to busy myself so I don't think about how I'm pregnant.
