The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 223

Rachel struggled to withdraw her hand, but Matthew had a firm grip on her. She couldn't budge at all, and he was way too strong. Before she knew it, she was pulled inside the car and pinned against the seat. She could feel his muscular body and warm breath. Rachel blushed, and her heart was pounding. "Stop it, Matthew. Take your hand off me."

Matthew pressed Rachel's voluptuous body beneath him. Feeling his blood pumping, he caught a whiff of her scent and could barely hold back.

Hearing Rachel's protest, Matthew lowered his gaze. Only then did he realize he had subconsciously put his hand on her chest. It felt like a jolt of electric current, and he fondled it briefly. Meanwhile, Rachel immediately tensed up. Noticing this, Matthew smirked and slowly got up. Even though he hadn't laid his hand on a woman for a long time, he hadn't lost his mind yet. "Since you don't want to entertain me, I'll send you back."

Rachel felt a mix of fear and excitement. She somehow looked forward to what was about to happen next. But why did Matthew suddenly stop?

Feeling empty, Rachel watched as Matthew got out of the car, closed the door, and then entered the driver's seat.

She grumbled to herself, "I gave you a chance, and you didn't take it. You can't blame me for that."

Matthew sighed and drove Rachel back to the company.

Thinking back to Matthew's aggressive behavior and the places he had touched her, Rachel felt her cheeks flush red. Was that what it felt like when a man and a woman got intimate? Rachel was intrigued. She felt like a person who had never tasted candy suddenly trying it for the first time.

Matthew was driving and saw that Rachel was silent. Thinking that she was mad, he chuckled and said, "You're not mad, are you? I was just messing with you earlier."

Rachel snorted and thought giddily, "I used to believe Matthew was a pervert, but it turns out he just likes to run his mouth. He doesn't dare to actually do it."

Rachel found herself smiling at the thought.

Seeing that Rachel didn't respond, Matthew changed the subject. "Since you don't want to spend time with me, then hang out with Lori instead. Let's pick her up from school together this afternoon."

"I agreed to pick up Lori with you this afternoon. But first, can you drop me off so Tracy and I can go shopping for clothes?" Rachel responded this time.

Shopping for clothes? Matthew looked at the rearview mirror. Rachel's outfit was spotless, so it didn't seem like she needed new clothes.

"What you're wearing now looks just fine."

Rachel shook her head. "These clothes are too mature for hanging out with kids. I really need to change. You wouldn't get it."

Matthew was surprised to find out that Rachel was going to buy new clothes just for Lorraine, and he grinned without realizing it.

After getting back to the company, Rachel asked Tracy to go shopping with her, As the chauffeur, Matthew offered to drive them but was turned down, so he had to wait at the office.

It was almost time to clock out, but Rachel hadn't returned yet.

Just as Matthew was about to ask Rachel where she was, his phone rang. The caller happened to be Rachel.novelbin

"Hey, where are you? If you don't come back soon, we won't make it in time to pick up Lori after school."

A male voice came through the phone. "I'll send you an address to pick up Rachel. Bring 10 million dollars with you and come alone. You've got 30 minutes-don't be late."

When he finished speaking, the man ended the call. Was that a kidnapping?

Startled, Matthew tried to call back immediately, but Rachel's phone was turned off. He was at a loss for what to do next when a text message came to his phone. "Meet ten miles away from Solaris Bridge in Lambda City toward Hudnear Mountain."

Without hesitation, Matthew rushed toward the basement parking lot He didn't have time to figure out if it was a kidnapping or what those guys were after. He just wanted to get there quickly.

There was a villa located halfway up Hudnear Mountain, about ten miles in.

Cowering in the corner with her hair in disarray, Rachel stared at Sheldon in fear. "It's just a business disagreement, Sheldon. Calm down and don't do anything extreme."

The longer Sheldon gazed at Rachel,

the more he liked her. "Jeffrey has

his place. How dare you dismiss me

so easily? Since you're not up for it, I have to do something."
