The Invincible Arthur Gardner

Chapter 14 - Snow White Princess

Chapter 14 - Snow White Princess

Claudina Rigal was a stunningly beautiful woman of twenty. Her skin was like freshly fallen snow, and

her hair was a mane of polished white cascading in glossy waves down to her shoulders. Her eyes

were the brilliant azure of a clear summer sky and her smile could brighten anyone’s day with its

radiance, like a beam of sunshine.

Claudina was an incredibly talented singer, possessing an innate talent that, even without formal

training, captured the attention of many. In no time at all, she became an overnight sensation, her

beautiful voice soaring through the air like a gentle breeze and captivating all who heard it.

People were captivated by Claudina's beauty, often referring to her as the "Snow White Princess." Her

voice was bewitching, like a siren song, captivating all who heard her. Her songs were full of emotion,

and her voice conveyed both sorrow and joy. She sang of love and loss, hope and despair, yet all her

songs were beautiful.

Claudina's captivating presence was like that of an angel. Her perfect features and snow-white hair

were mesmerizing, and her gentle nature and sweet demeanor only amplified her beauty. She was truly

a beautiful person, both inside and out.

No matter where Claudina went, she always attracted an audience. People would rush to her to listen

to her beautiful singing and admire her stunning beauty. She was a source of inspiration to those who

knew her and her remarkable talent made her an icon.

"Claudina! You can easily get out of this predicament if you just humble yourself a bit. Do you know

what? The man who offered you to sleep with him is offering you a billion dollars. I don't need to bother

organizing this charity event anymore. So, why are you still so concerned about those poor kids? They

won't make the slightest difference to your career."

He was Leo, a manager at the entertainment company that was taking over Claudina's solo career.

The orphanage where Claudina had spent her childhood was facing eviction as a new business was

set to be built in its place - a prospect that Claudina and all those who had lived there found distressing,

not because of its luxuriousness, but because of all the memories it held.

Claudina requested her manager to plan a charity event and offered to dedicate the latest song she

wrote to anyone who paid for it. Furthermore, she provided the winner of the charity auction the

opportunity to have dinner with her in any location of their choosing.

"Are you certain that someone would pay a large sum of money just for you to have dinner with them?

Are you insane? They want your body. Why do you think so highly of yourself? It was just one night, it

was a speedy process, and you would have easily been able to solve this problem," he said very easily.

Claudina lifted her face to look at Leo, her snow-white complexion glowing in the soft light as if the

moon itself had descended to earth.

"Mr. Leo," she said, her voice soft and apologetic, "I know I'm a bit stubborn, and I'm sorry. But I would

never consider selling my body to anyone, under any circumstances."

She bowed her head again but then raised her gaze to meet Leo's. "I still believe that there is someone Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

out there with a kind heart who is willing to understand the struggles of less fortunate people. I still have

hope."

"Do you really think everyone is as good as me," he said scornfully, "the one who took you from the

trash and brought you this far? Do you really think you can remain chaste in the showbiz world? That's

just a dream! If you want to climb even higher, you have to kiss the butts of the rich and powerful. You'll

get all the funding you need then. And you'll lose your chastity too eventually, you won't be able to take

it to your grave, right?"

Claudina earned the nickname "Snow White Princess'' not only because of her breathtaking beauty -

with skin and hair as white as the freshly fallen snow - but also due to the frigid barrier that she had

erected around her heart. She was also known as "The Frozen Heart Princess'', for no man had ever

been able to thaw the ice fortress she had carefully crafted.

Claudina was so high and perfect – a challenge any man would want to take on. She was not only a

prize worth winning but a treasure that was incomparable. A goddess in the world, someone who

seemed too good to be true, yet here she was – completely unattainable.

"Thank you, Mr. Leo, for your kind concern. I am truly appreciative of all the support you have provided

me. Nevertheless, I shall stay firm in my beliefs. I will only bestow my heart and body to someone who

can make me fall head over heels in love with him, not because of his riches, but because he can truly

recognise me as a woman and treat me with the respect I deserve."

Claudina stood, her figure adorned with a pristine mix of white and blue - a dress that made her look

like an angel descending from heaven without wings.

"I'm sure my dream will come true if I stay strong in my conviction," Claudina said, bowing her head

before stepping out. That night, she would be the star of a charity event their management had

organized for a noble cause she was determined to fight for with all her heart.

Arthur Gardner had a stunning appearance that night, dressed in a black suit as he came to a charity

event. He was eager to accumulate more VIP points by providing aid to those less fortunate.

He had previously tried to donate money to an orphanage, but the System seemed to be unresponsive.

He realized that he had to put his heart into everything he did for the System to recognize his efforts

and give him the reward he deserved. That's why he came to the charity event tonight; he wanted to do

more donations that he could do with passion, not just out of greed.

Arthur purposefully steered clear of his new Bugatti La Voiture Parfaite, knowing it was the only one in

the city and he wanted to remain anonymous.

The taxi he had taken eventually pulled up to the grand entrance of a hotel in Southlake. Guests were

milling about, each wearing face masks to obscure their identities.

"What the hell? It looks like tonight's event is really attracting the wealthiest folks in town,"

"I wonder who will be the lucky one to have dinner with the fair Princess Claudina."

"Just thinking of being able to feel her soft skin sends shivers down my spine."
