The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2746

My mind was filled with thoughts of my mother who was lying on the bed as we made our way back.

It was obvious that she would not be able to answer me. Even if I had a thousand words to say to her, she would not be able to answer me. My head hung low with frustration.

I was fortunate to know that my mother was still alive, yet I could not bring myself to feel happy.

The car stopped suddenly. Theo covered the back of my hand and said softly, "I'll invite authorities in this field to help with her treatment. If one is not enough, then I'll get two. If not two, then three. I think there's surely a chance."

I was already satisfied that he could comfort me like this.

Pursing my lips, I gave Theo a faint smile. "I understand my mother's current situation. There aren't many cases of people waking up from their comas, but it doesn't matter. As long as she's still alive, I can go to the hospital to see her and talk to her. I can tell her everything that I haven't been able to and act like a child with her for all the times I couldn't in the past 20 years. I'll be happy enough with this."

I now had the chance to do something that never was on the table to begin with. Of course, I would choose to accept it.

Theo rubbed my head and the smile on his face was very gratifying. "I'm happy you think so."

"Anyway, today is a good day. I no longer have any doubts." I looked out the window. I finally did not need to wonder about who I was and where my parents were.

That was because they were by my side now.

The next day, I went to Green Orange to tell Shannon and Marius about this. They were stunned.

Clap, clap, clap.

Marius applauded. He could not help shaking his head as he sighed. "Truly, you see everything once you live long enough."

"Yeah. That your mother is actually alive despite being in a coma is too... It's incredible. You could write everything you've experienced into a book." Shannon was stunned for a long time before she finally reacted.

I shrugged. "Yeah, I didn't expect it either. But now that I finally know everything, I'm satisfied."

Marius smiled softly with his hands

in his pocket. "You're fine now, Sis Wan. There are many cases of people waking up from their comas. I'll help you search for a doctor too."

"Same here," Shannon echoed.

"Thank you."

I was really grateful to these two friends of mine who were by my side. They helped me so much.

Shannon's phone suddenly went off at this moment, but she ended it with an impatient look. "Here we go again."

To the side, Marius's expression also showed how this seemed to be commonplace. "He's really persistent." "Who?"

Only I asked with a confused expression.

Shannon sighed. "It's just Arthur."

"Didn't you guys hit it off quite well? How did it come to this?"

Since I had been busy dealing with everything the past few days, I had no idea what happened to Shannon and Arthur.

Marius covered his mouth and

smiled secretly before revealing to me, "Arthur is trying to pursue. Shannon. He admitted it openly, and his fans are now dragging Shannon for seducing their Artie."

"Stop gloating. His fans are about to drive me up a wall. I didn't even hint to Arthur that I'm interested in him. Who would even like a little brat?" Shannon said while fiddling with her phone. Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

"Oh, Shannon, that's not right of you to say. There are benefits to being young. Don't you agree, Sis Wan?" Marius smiled at me, revealing a perfect row of teeth. Before I could respond to him, Shannon turned pale from fright and grabbed my clothes. "Wanda, look! Something's happened!"
