Chapter 309
Chapter 309
Patricia noticed a sense of uncertainty hanging around him, and she was in disbelief. But Isaac can have anything he wants as long as he wants it. Why does he look so uncertain? Is he worried I might leave him?
She felt a pang of pain shot through her heart. She leaned on his chest and held him tight. She didn't have any idea what happened to him. She had no idea why his parents weren't around for him, but she wanted to tell him she would never leave. As long as he wanted her, she would be with him forever.
Isaac closed his eyes and pulled her closer. He whispered, "You're not running away, Patricia. No matter what, you're not leaving."
They held each other in a tight embrace, making a silent promise to each other. Eventually, everyone around them left, and he let her go. They returned to the town, and while the winds were cold, their hearts felt warm.
Half an hour later, they returned to the hotel. Isaac took their key from the receptionist and led Patricia to their room.
The first thing she did was to make her way toward the French window. The lake was right outside, and she gushed like a child, "This is beautiful, Isaac!"
He changed into a pair of slippers and took Patricia's to her. "Change into these." She's been wearing heels the whole day. Her feet must be sore. This will feel better.
She took her heels off and changed into some slippers. Then, she held Isaac's arm. "This is a beautiful place, Isaac. I have never been here before. We should bring the kids along next time." She never took the kids on any trips before due to their financial standing. Now, she wanted to give them the trips they deserved.
Isaac stared into the distance. "Sure." He was thinking about having some kids of their own after they got married.
"Yay!"
He then looked at the time. "It's late. Get showered. It's time to sleep." Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Patricia snapped out of it and stole a glance. Wonder what's going to happen. She looked forward to it, but she also felt nervous. She might be a mother, but she had zero experience in this sort of bedroom activity. She was worried she might not do it well.
Though, she wouldn't tell him that, of course. She pulled back and pointed outside. "I'm going to the bathroom."
She scurried off to the master bedroom. Isaac turned around and saw her closing the door. A smile curled his lips, and he went to take a shower himself.
…
Back at the Estrella Villa, the boys were sitting on their beds. Scott crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes.
"Stellan, I think Mommy turned her phone off on purpose." She's worried we're gonna ruin her date with Isaac. She changed. She's bolder now.
Stellan grinned. "I think Isaac's behind this, Scott." They thought their mother would never turn her phone off so she could avoid taking their calls. Only Isaac would tell her to do that. Fury filled their little hearts, and their eyes met.
The boys huddled closer. "Why don't we hack his phone and give him a warning?"
Isaac got out of the bathroom and changed into his pajamas. He picked his phone up and realized something was wrong with it. He quickly dealt with the hacking and came to the last step. All he had to do was press 'yes,' and his phone would return to normal.
However, a video of Scott and Stellan popped up instead. "If you get this far, congratulations. You can watch this video now."
